Sunday Mercury Campaign: Make Roy Wood a Star on Broad Street in Birmingham

The Birmingham Walk of Stars is organised and funded by the Broad Street Business Improvement District, which represents the 260-plus businesses in the area – the Midlands premier entertainment district , welcoming more than 100,000 visitors a week.

Last night, Broad Street manager Mike Olley said: “Roy Wood is an amazing Birmingham-bred talent.

“He certainly fits the bill when it comes to the Walk of Stars – and he gets my vote.

“What’s important is what the people of Birmingham think, and we certainly look forward to seeing how this campaign develops and the responses received. “We do listen to the public, so have your say!”
