Video: Thugs film chilling bedroom attack on Birmingham victim on phone

A GANG of thugs, including teenage girls, attacked a terrified victim in the bedroom of his Birmingham home – then posted footage of the assault online.

The shocking three-minute video shows a group of eight young men and girls beating up an unidentified man, while he cowers on his bed.

During the brutal attack the victim – referred to only as Brian – is punched, kicked and spat by two girls, as one of the men films it all on his phone.

The gang also threaten the dazed middle-aged man, with one of the females screaming: ‘‘You’re going to get f****** killed!”

The chilling video was later posted on YouTube – and could now spark a police probe.

The Sunday Mercury was alerted to the footage by a concerned resident who refused to identify himself, or those involved, for fear of reprisals.

He said: “This attack happened in central Birmingham last summer but the victim is refusing to go to police because he fears that the gang will come back and beat him up again.

“The reason they targeted him was because he got into an argument with them one night. He stood up to them after they were terrorising local residents, and called them names in the heat of the moment.

“He knew he would get some trouble for it, but never expected them to get into his home and do this.
