Toxic fags being sold in Wolverhampton for 40p

TOXIC cigarettes smuggled into Britain from Russia are being sold to Midland school children for as little as forty pence a packet.

The dangerous bootlegs, branded with the name Jin Ling, are TWICE as strong as normal fags and could contain industrial chemicals – including asbestos-lined Chinese drywall.

The cigarettes have been created specifically for the lucrative smuggling trade by crime gangs who are selling them on through the black market to adults and kids.

One worried Wolverhampton parent contacted the Sunday Mercury to highlight the dangers of Jin Ling which have flooded Western Europe.

He said: “Children are getting hold of these cigarettes with ease because they are everywhere and can be bought for pennies.

“You can’t buy them in shops but you can get them easily from pubs and clubs.
