There was plenty of hard-core action on display, with a particularly graphic film running on a projector screen in the middle of the main room.
The centrepiece of the room was a large futon, with towels strewn across the cushions.
Surrounding the main “bed” were half a dozen white leather sofas.
Two side rooms offered a “private” space for swingers to indulge their fantasies, while a back room stored fetish equipment including a cross, a “spank bench” and various other scary looking objects.
A small smoking area looked out over the Tyburn Road industrial area.
Russell told us that the club only opened in March but had already attracted 500 members.
Yet on the overcast mid-week evening that we visited, there was only one other couple visiting the club.
They were middle-aged and plump, friendly and unassuming.
And the manageress was so polite and accommodating that at one point, as we sipped reasonably-priced soft drinks, we felt more like we were in a tea room than a sex den.
