STEPHANIE Cartwright does not know how long she has left to live – she has a cancer so rare that nobody can tell her.
The mother of four from Wednesbury may be the only woman in Britain stricken by a Neuroendocrine Tumour in her breast.
And she only discovered she had the illness when a computer bungle sent her a check-up appointment by mistake.
So unusual is the condition that Stephanie has been unable to find any other victims to talk to.
After trawling the internet in vain, she is desperate to find someone she can share her experience with, a shoulder to laugh and cry on.
But even as the search goes on, brave Stephanie isn’t allowing the illness – known as NET – to beat her. The former admin assistant has still found time to raise funds for cancer charities.
