Worcester Warriors lock James Percival offered role in porn sex movie

MIDLAND rugby hero James Percival last night revealed how he turned down an offer to be a PORN STAR.

The Worcester Warriors lock was approached by the producer of a seedy sex film, and invited to take part in a steamy scrum.

But the man mountain, who stands 6ft 5in tall and weighs in at 18st 8lb, says his interest simply wasn’t aroused.

Just a few days after returning to the club where he started his career, the 27-year-old was offered the chance to emulate rugby actors Martin Bayfield and Zak Feaunati.

For the past few years former England second row Bayfield has filled the silver screen as body double for Harry Potter giant Hagrid. And last summer Feaunati played Jonah Lomu in Clint Eastwood’s South African blockbuster Invictus.

But Percival’s opening wasn’t as glamorous and came after he was ‘talent spotted’ while walking through Coventry city centre.

“I had just got back from my stag do in Miami in July,” the Wordsley-born forward recalled. “I had a bit of a tan and when I get a tan my hair goes white and I look a bit German, Russian or something like that.

“I was walking down the road and out of the corner of my eye I caught someone sprinting behind me. I thought he was either going to mug me or do something else inadvisable.

“This man tapped me on the shoulder and I was expecting him to start talking rugby. I couldn’t in my wildest dreams have imagined what he was going to propose to me.
