OLYMPIC heroes have been offered an X-rated treat when they arrive in Birmingham next summer – free lapdancing.
The Jamaican and US teams, featuring track superstar Usain Bolt and swimming sensation Michael Phelps, will be based in the West Midlands preparing for London 2012.
Now the Rocket Club is trying to lure fun-loving athletes with free entry and complimentary champagne – and a pole dance competition with their sexy ladies.
Lawrence Reddy, who owns the Broad Street venue, told the Sunday Mercury: “With fit, beautiful, youthful bodies, the Olympians and our girls have lots in common.
‘‘The athletes may be capable of breaking world records, but our girls can still teach them a thing or two!’’
He added: “All Olympians will be given free entry and a free glass of Champagne.
“We are also offering a magnum of Champagne to any of star who can get close to our girls’ golden abilities on our poles.”
It is not the fist time the Rocket Club has made the news with its cheeky offers.
The Tory party held its annual conference in Birmingham three years ago – and offered delegates a cut-price entry pass to the venue in its official welcome pack.
Now it seems some of the world’s most recognisable athletes could land an even better deal at the city centre club.
Among the stars heading to Birmingham is fastest man on the planet Bolt, who broke three world records and took home three golds at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.
