Birmingham Council’s Lib Dem deputy leader tells of shock at 'sexual services' offer at massage parlour in Erdington

BIRMINGHAM Council’s Lib Dem deputy leader spoke of his shock yesterday at being offered “sexual services” when he visited a Thai massage parlour.

Roger Harmer, 46, said he has had massages for 15 years because he suffers from a bad back. But he admitted that a Thai masseuse at the Fruity Spa, in Six Ways, Erdington, made an indecent proposal, offering him a ‘happy ending’ to his session.

On the spa’s website, sexy young women pose provacatively in their underwear.

Coun Harmer said: “It is a fine line how some of these places dress themselves up as massage parlours but may be offering sexual services.”
