A MUM found hanging at her Midland home where her daughter was also discovered dead had previously spoken about taking her own life, sources claimed last night.
Clare White, 28, is understood to have been suffering from depression and told friends she had considered suicide – but did not want to leave her five year-old child, Aisha.
Both their bodies were found at their home in Christie Way, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, on Friday morning by a close friend.
The revelations were made as the first pictures of the ‘‘bubbly’’ and ‘‘beautiful’’ mum emerged.
A source told the Sunday Mercury: “Clare had spoken about killing herself but didn’t want to leave Aisha. She was suffering from depression.’’
It also emerged how a friend had gone into the house and seen Clare in the airing cupboard before realising the tragic truth. She thought she was pulling out some towels but when she got closer she realised Clare was dead,” the source added.
“She went into Aisha’s room and found her lifeless body in bed. She believes she may have been suffocated.”
The source added: “Aisha was such an adorable little thing and was very much like her mother.
