THE long-term lover of Blues football star David Bentley has revealed that despite his two marriage proposals, she is not in a hurry to walk down the aisle.
Blonde stunner Kimberley Mills, who met Bentley when she was just 13 years old, admits she didn’t like the ring first time round, and that she wants more kids before she gets married.
Kimberley, 24 says that the childhood sweethearts WILL marry one day, but not until their 18-month-old daughter Devon Bow has some brothers or sisters.
Recently voted one of Britain’s hottest WAGs in a lads’ mag, Kimberley says: “We first got engaged when I was 18. And then last year David proposed again in Dubai.
“I don’t know when we will actually get married. Every year we say we’ll do it the following year, but I think it’s more likely to be in a few years time when we have more children and they are older.
“It may sound bad but it just seems like such a big procedure – so much planning.”
Bentley, once hailed as the new Beckham, joined the St Andrews Club on loan in January after falling out of favour with Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp.
Now 27, he joined Spurs in a £17 million move from Blackburn Rovers in 2008 but failed to recapture the form he showed at Ewood Park.
Recalling the moment David first popped the question, Kimberley says: “He rang me one day and said: ‘Get ready, we’re going out for dinner’. I spoke to my mum and she said he’d mentioned that he might propose.
“I was a bit shocked, so all night I kept thinking he would ask me to marry him.
“We went to see the musical Chicago in the West End, then went on to a restaurant. The waiter came with the champagne and David said: ‘We’ll have it in a bit’.
“He didn’t even ask me to marry him. He just said: ‘We’ve been together ages, we may as well get engaged. That was it! He didn’t have a ring or anything!
