Dudley pensioner trapped in home by horses

A MIDLAND pensioner claims she was kept a prisoner in her own home because she was too frightened of stray horses outside.

Marion Brookes, aged 62, who has a lung condition, said she couldn’t get out of her house in Dudley for days after horses got into her garden.

She said: “I’m frightened to go outside.”

Residents in Dudley, Walsall and Tipton claim stray ponies are a growing problem.
