Former West Browmich Albion star Lee Hughes to marry new love

JAILBIRD soccer star Lee Hughes has found love again and will marry in the New Year, a friend revealed last night.

The former West Bromwich Albion striker ended a seven-year relationship with pretty mum-of-two Anna Kalebic in 2008.

The Croatian-born beauty, 38, had stood by her man throughout his court trial when he was convicted of causing the death of car passenger Douglas Graham by dangerous driving.

The shamed player was eventually jailed for six years after jurors heard how he had lost control of his speeding £100,000 Mercedes before it crashed into another vehicle.

Hughes, 33, and Anna split at Christmas in 2008 and after being released from prison he signed for Oldham Athletic before joining his current team, Notts County.

Last night a friend of the player said: “Lee is really working hard to try and turn his life round and he is over the moon about being engaged to his partner, Emma.
