A BLACK Country lecturer and mum-of-two found stabbed to death at her home had suffered up to 100 knife wounds, a court heard yesterday.
Wolverhampton College academic Mandy Finn, 40, died after sustaining three “potentially fatal” wounds, Wolverhampton Crown Court was told.
Stephen Dowds, 49, appeared at the court yesterday charged with the mum’s murder.
The performing arts tutor spoke only to confirm his name and address.
Judge John Warner remanded Dowds in custody until February 18 when it is expected he will attend a plea and directions hearing.
Ms Finn suffered fatal wounds at her home in the Whitmore Reans area on Sunday.
