A PAEDIATRIC nurse who was jailed for car jacking has been banned from ever working in healthcare again.
Nahida Parveen, 22, was jailed for five years for her part in roadside attacks on female and elderly drivers in the West Midlands.
During one terrifying raid her gang had used an imitation gun to frighten one victim who had fought back.
Parveen, from Tipton in the Black Country, had snatched a Ford Fiesta and a BMW Mini from motorists with the help of two accomplices.
Now the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) has banned her from ever working as a nurse again.
“We have decided to make a striking off order,” said a disciplinary panel at a recent hearing.
“The registrant’s misconduct represents a serious departure from the relevant standards set out in the code of professional conduct.
“Confidence in the council would be undermined if the registrant were not struck off.”
The nurse joined forces with brothers Sarfaraz and Shahbaz Hussain, aged 22 and 24, from Dudley, for the terrifying robbery spree.
During a trial at Stafford Crown Court jurors heard how the gang targeted two women and a pensioner.
