Sexy superhero babes at British International Comic Show

Jessica Wood as Brittania from the Brit Force Comics

SHE’S the sexy superhero who sends temperatures soaring up, up and away.

And yesterday, busty Britannia came to life at the British International Comic Show in Birmingham.

The star of the Brit Force comicbook series was dreamed up by Midland writer Andy Radbourne.

By day he is a mild-mannered accountant, but at weekends he creates myths and legends.

And seeing one of his creations made flesh by model Jessica Wood – squeezed into a very, very tight skimpy pvc dress – was enough to drive the fans wild.

“Britannia is the ideal pin-up girl: big boobs, tall, statuesque, strong and patriotic,” said Andy. “She’s great to draw. But she is also a single mum and has some insecurities.

“All heros have to have flaws.”

Andy is in Birmingham to promote Brit Force, and called on pal Jessica to grab some attention, helping make him stand out among scores of other artists and writers.

Jessica, 32, from Watford, was delighted to help.

“I don’t often get the opportunity to dress up as a hero,” she said. “We have the same fringe, and I had this dress which seemed right. It was a bit of a squeeze, though!”
