Goldie shoots for the top with computer game advert

IT is one of the most brutal computer games on the market with characters stabbed to death and women being raped.

Now Wolverhampton rapper Goldie has created a unique graffiti advert for Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days – a gunshot-riddled billboard.

The former EastEnders star said: “Art has always been my thing and it’s the thing that has always kept me strong all down the years.

“People think of the music but art is my first love really.”

His billboard is a street art explosion of spray-can colour, punctuated by smoking holes from live ammunition from a 12-gauge shotgun.

He said: “I loved the first Kane and Lynch game, and will definitely be playing the new one.

“So doing this as a PR thing is great fun for me, and to be able to do it with a sniper is really cool. I’ve imagined it as if there is someone looking at them through a giant pair of binoculars.

“This is a way to do games which is cutting-edge, and that’s what I’m all about.”

Goldie was a notorious graffiti artist in his youth, long before he began the music career that would win him household fame.
