Earlsdon baby in near miss after air gun attack

A PELLET missed a baby by inches but injured her mother after an air gun attack in Coventry.

The 33 year-old was carrying her one year-old daughter in Earlsdon when she was hit in the right shoulder by thugs.

West Midlands Police said the incident could have been fatal had the child been hit.

Officers area appealing for information about the shooting and want to trace two men and a woman who came to the mum’s aid.
