£9,000 for a garden 'toy' from Staffordshire castle builder

IT’S the ‘toy’ castle that any child would love to own.

But this designer wooden playhouse will be out of the reach of most parents – because it costs a whopping £9,000.

Sean James, 38, builds the incredible adventure playthings from scratch and boasts Midland Premier League footballers among his clients.

The dad-of-one, from Cannock, Staffordshire, said: “My castles are truly worth every penny.

“The reason they’re so expensive is because of the top quality material I use. And when they are finished they have a unique plaque with my business logo, Castles by Design, on them – making them genuine designer castles.”
