Walsall fraudster paid for £7,600 spending spree on GP's credit cards

Gill had conned the bank details out of a Sutton Coldfield man and then used them to obtain £2,000 of goods and services.

The fraudster advertised mobile phones, Westlife tickets and store vouchers on eBay and asked interested customers to pay the money directly into her account.

But they never received the items.

Gill had again obtained the man’s bank details by pretending to be a British Telecom official and had also used them to obtain takeaway meals and mobiles.

She admitted 14 charges of dishonestly making a false representation to obtain money and also of possessing cannabis.

Her lawyer in that case told the court that Gill had become drug-free and was determined to put her life in order.

But within six months she was once again pretending to be a BT official in the latest scam – for which she now faces jail when sentenced tomorrow.
