BRITAIN’S Got Talent star Darth Jackson has admitted he fears “breaking down” on stage after the sudden death of his idol.
The Brummie postal worker, real name Philip Farrugia, is struggling to come to terms with the King of Pop’s untimely demise.
He opened his heart in an emotional phonecall from his hotel in Bournemouth, where he is currently touring with the Britain’s Got Talent Roadshow.
Philip, 37 and from Handsworth, Birmingham said: “I’m in shock. So is everyone else on Britain’s Got Talent.
“I’m still coming to terms with it, I think I’ll break down at some point to be honest, I just hope it’s not during my act.
“But I’m a professional and I will do my best to do justice to Michael’s memory.”
Philip stunned this year’s judges on Britain’s Got Talent when he performed his moonwalking dance routine to Michael Jackson’s thriller, while dressed up in Star Wars gear.
Amanda Holden was particularly impressed with his first appearance.
Philip has been dancing for 30 years, but Britain’s Got Talent was his first real public performance.
