Family of murdered Birmingham nurse in justice plea

Fire crews found Ms Sidhu's body at the foot of a flight of stairs at her home in Glyn Farm Road, Quinton, following a fire on May 14 last year.

The discovery was initially treated as suspicious by detectives, but is now being treated as murder after tests showed that manual strangulation played a part her death.

Ms Sidhu's brother, 30-year-old Amarjit Lal, said: "She was just happy-go-lucky, a breath of fresh air.

"The way she was taken from us was not right. Whoever is responsible for this or anyone who know anything should come forward.

"Just come forward and contact the police to bring these people or this person to justice."
