A jury has been sworn in for the trial of a man accused of killing a football fan who was struck by a car after a Premier League derby match in Birmingham.
Lee Mockble, of Robin Hood Lane in Hall Green, Birmingham, denies the murder of Aston Villa supporter Christopher Priest on April 20 last year.
The 21-year-old has also pleaded not guilty to a further charge of causing death by dangerous driving.
Mr Priest, 26, from Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, died after he was hit by a car in Aston Hall Road, Birmingham, shortly after Aston Villa's 5-1 win over Birmingham City at Villa Park.
The trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court was adjourned to 10.30am on Thursday, when the prosecution will open the case.
