'Spinning and hovering' UFO seen in Staffordshire

ights at each end which were cream and very bright. There was a loud humming noise. The informant saw the object over the Stile Cop area of Cannock Chase.”

Prominent ufologist Nick Redford said: “What’s interesting is that this sighting was followed shortly afterwards by sightings at RAF Cosford and RAF Shawbury, as if the UFO was moving across the country.”

Indeed, the most remarkable accounts are those from RAF officers on-duty at Cosford and Shawbury who witnessed the same object. Records indicate that they contacted other RAF bases to establish if there were any registered aircraft currently in the air.
