Back the referees

WERE the FA right to ban Hall Green Colts? Yes, the Birmingham County FA have got it right and it’s about time – they do not back the referees enough. They must come down hard on these teams or I can see a referee getting injured by being assaulted.

The referee abuse is out of hand and it is down to the top level of football. It must be cut out at the top Premier level and all the way down, and it’s up to the counties to come down hard and the leagues you are in to back the referees – or in time you will not have any referees left.
