Winston Churchill's state funeral was richly deserved

AS one of many who fought in the last war from day one, I was delighted when Winston Churchill had the state funeral which he so richly deserved.

Despite being a lukewarm Conservative supporter all my life I strongly disapprove of Margaret Thatcher receiving a similar tribute.

The Second World War hardly bears comparison to the Falklands Campaign.
