Oink, oink, oink

MY councillor, Tony Ward, labels a scheme to help the jobless in Sandwell improve their employability as "ridiculous", and a waste of taxpayers' cash.

This is at a time when unemployment is escalating nationally and the Peoples' Republic is becoming the region's employment wasteland.

At the same time it has been revealed that more than £25,000 of taxpayers' money is to be used to provide all 72 councillors in the borough with broadband for their free laptops.

Oink, oink, oink!
