Kadian Noble
BRUMMIE beauty Kadian Noble who is battling to become Britain’s Next Top Model has revealed how her face was almost ripped off in a terrifying road smash.
The gorgeous 22 year-old, from Perry Barr, was so badly injured in the accident that her family forbade her from looking in the mirror while she slowly regained her strength.
She was aged 16 at the time and had already done several photoshoots and charity catwalk shows.
So Kadian was devastated when surgeons at City Hospital considered amputating her arm while she spent two months at the health unit recovering.
The former Aston Manor School pupil also broke her nose and her pelvis.
Now, a mum-of-one, and with her stunning looks once more intact, Kadian has become one of 25 hopefuls to make it through to Living TV’s Britain’s Next Top Model.
She appears in the show alongside supermodel Elle ‘The Body’ Macpherson, to battle for the top prize of a one-year modelling contract.
Kadian said: “After the crash I couldn’t stand up.
“My arm was resting below my chest and couldn’t be straightened.
“I had four operations on it.
“There were no nerves in my fingers and I had to wear a wire splint and then a brace over my arms so no-one could knock it. It was terrible.
“No-one wanted me to look at my face. I wasn’t concerned about what I looked like, I just wanted to rebuild myself mentally and physically, and try to get better.”
Kadian’s mother, Jean Kelly, 45, gave up work to nurse her beloved daughter back to full health.
She said: “My mother washed and cared for me, and made sure there was another member of the family looking after me when she went out.
