AROUND 50 jobs will be created when work begins on Drayton Manor Theme Park’s new £18.5m hotel development.

Construction work is well under way to build a new 150-bedroom hotel and facility which is due to open next summer.

More than one-and-a-quarter million visitors flock to the 240-acre complex every year.

The new hotel will include themed rooms and a number of restaurants.
