Herefordshire pair charged with man's murder

Two people from Herefordshire have been charged with the murder of a 36-year-old man whose body was found in a river.

The man and woman were arrested at the weekend over the death of Tom Holt, who was discovered in the River Frome at Avenbury, near Bromyard, last Wednesday.

The pair, from Ledbury, will appear at Hereford Magistrates' Court charged with killing Mr Holt, from May Hill, near Longhope, Gloucestershire.

A post-mortem examination has been carried out, but the exact cause of Mr Holt's death has yet to be established.
