George Tyndale: David Cameron tough on crime? Don't make me laugh!

DAVID Cameron has promised to crack down on the yobs, forcing them to remove their masks when they go out looting.

Well, they’ll be quaking in their hoodies (from laughter, that is) if the first court sentences handed out are anything to go by.

In London shameless scumbag Frank Gallagher has been jailed for 20 weeks for trying to gouge out a policeman’s eyes.

So that’ll be 10 weeks in real life. Five weeks for each eye.

In Birmingham one Imran Khan was jailed for 10 weeks for assaulting a copper.

Meanwhile it will take the looted shopkeepers many months to get back in business.

Who said crime doesn’t pay?
