Dion Dublin

Former Man United and Aston Villa striker Dion Dublin is one of the latest players announced for Matt Murray's Testimonial match.

The 42-year-old, who also played for Coventry, Leicester and Norwich during his playing career, will captain the All Stars side against a Matt Murray Wolves XI at Molineux on Sunday 9th October.

The All Stars team is going to be managed by Wolves legend Steve Bull and will also feature a host of celebrities, including Shameless star Elliott Tittensor and former Coronatation Street actor and Dancing On Ice Contestant Danny Young but now more have signed up to play.

They include Britain's Got Talent winner George Sampson and acting trio Jack McMullen, Will Rush and Ben Ryan Davies, who will be swapping the fictional Waterloo Road in Rochdale for Waterloo Road, Wolverhampton when they come to Molineux to play in this unique event.

As for Wolves, their boss goalkeeping legend Mike Stowell has signed up a few players from his playing days at Molineux. Former full-back Andy Thompson, ex winger and now Beacon Radio pundit Robbie Dennison and another man who is now plying his trade as a pundit at Sky Sports, ex frontman Don Goodman will all play some part in the game.

They'll join the likes of current Wolves boss Mick McCarthy, former skipper Paul Ince, Denis Irwin and Man City and England defender Joleon Lescott after they already agreed to line up for their former team mate Murray, who is hoping to raise as much money as possible for his four testimonial charities.
