KEVIN Doyle has revealed that he dreams of playing aboard, although the striker has reiterated his desire to stick it out with Wolves for the time being.
The Republic of Ireland international is likely to have plenty of Premier League admirers this summer after playing a major part in Wolves’ successful season.
The ex-Reading hot-shot has already been linked to a host of top clubs, including the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham, Villa and Everton.
And, to fuel the speculation and lift his stock higher, Doyle’s boss at international level, Giovanni Trapattoni, has publicly expressed his opinion that the 26-year-old would be an ideal player for Italian giants Juventus.
Doyle has already had a taste of Italian football having spent three months with Torino’s academy as a teenager.
And the former Cork City and St Patrick’s Athletic star has expressed his desire to play away from these shores at some point in his career.
“Anyone would love to experience playing in a different country and I think I would be no different to any player,” admitted Doyle. “I would like to try a different lifestyle – a different country. It would be a good for any person to try a different country and experience it. It is very difficult to do that and get to a country like Italy because you have to be a very good player.
“It was very tough when I went out to Italy before but I did enjoy it.
