MICHAEL Kightly knew just who to celebrate with once Wolves ensured their future for next season will be a golden one – in the top flight of the English Football League.
For after seeing his side secure Barclays Premier League football for next season, Kightly was thrilled to discover that no fewer than six of his former class of 2006 team mates from his old club Grays Athletic had also tasted success with promotion with their respective new clubs.
Kightly’s career path from non-league Blue Square Conference side Grays to the Premier League has been the stuff of fairytales.
