Wolverhampton Wanderers wonderboy will spur advances of Chelsea and Manchester City

WOLVES wonderboy Zele Ismail has promised to spurn the advances of the Premier League big boys to pledge his future to Molineux.

The 15-year-old striker has been Wolves’ best-kept secret for the last five years with club bosses at pains to stave of interest.

But Ismail’s debut for the England under-16s, screened on Sky Sports earlier this month, has hit their hopes of keeping him under wraps.

“The cat’s out of the bag now,” said a source.

“Pretty soon the world’s going to be aware of Zele Ismail and who knows where it’s going to lead him.”

Chelsea and Manchester City have been linked with £2 million swoops for Ismail.

The club are so concerned about holding on to the teenager that he has been substituted after scoring hat-tricks in youth games to avoid drawing further attention to himself and agents visiting the Compton training ground looking to sign him up have been escorted from the premises by Wolves coaches.
