Jody Craddock and Karl Henry to battle for the captains armband in Wolverhampton Wanderer's first game against Plymouth Arglye

Argyle boss Paul Sturrock confirmed midfielder Simon Walton will play after joining for an undisclosed record-breaking fee from QPR. Sturrock was less forthcoming about his other starters - including the goalkeeping position, where Romain Larrieu and summer signing Graham Stack vie for the shirt.

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy is keeping his first XI a closely guarded secret - although new signings Sam Vokes, Richard Stearman, David Jones and Chris Iwelumo are all set to feature. Jody Craddock and Karl Henry are set to go head-to-head for the captain's armband vacated by Gary Breen.
