West Brom: Michael Appleton meets up with Portsmouth players ahead of appointment

MICHAEL Appleton was today meeting his new Portsmouth players at the club's training ground.

The Baggies No2 will officially complete his move to Fratton Park before being unveiled to the media at 3pm.

He is expected to sign a contract keeping him at the club until summer 2015.

Both clubs had been in talks since last weekend with the deal likely to be rubber-stamped sometime this morning.
