West Brom: There's no need to panic, says Nicky Shorey

NICKY Shorey says there is no reason to panic despite Albion’s slow start to the season.

Ahead of today’s trip to Norwich, the Baggies sit in the relegation zone on zero points after losing their opening three games.

Shorey admits that it’s not a good position to be in but feels it is way to early in the season to look at league standings.

The 30-year-old also knows that Albion have been unlucky in the defeats against Manchester United, Chelsea, and Stoke, and believes they could have got something from all three games.

This afternoon’s trip to Carrow Road has already been marked as a must-win game because of the blank points tally, but Shorey says it would have been the same even if they had got off the mark early on.

“A wrong result today will spin it and mean it’s a disaster with everyone else – but not for us,” he said.
