Tony Mowbray (upright)
WHILE it’s a shame that Tony Mowbray’s return to Celtic ended in disaster, I can’t say that it surprised me.
The former Baggies boss is a good football manager (as he will go on to prove that with another club) and should be admired for his stubborn stance in favour of the beautiful game.
However, the footballing philosophy that Mogga has always preached is something that would take at least five years to completely transfer on to the pitch.
It would have taken a lengthy transformation of the team, similar to the gradual Arsene Wenger revolution at Arsenal, for Mowbray’s belief to bear fruit.
