Derby 2 West Brom 2: Full time analysis

DJ Campbell rescued a point for Derby against West Brom in a dramatic late finish at Pride Park.

Campbell, on loan from Leicester, struck in the fifth minute of injury-time to make amends for the error that looked to have gave West Brom victory.

It was Campbell who lost possession just two minutes before to allow Graham Dorrans to put Albion 2-1 in front.

Another Leicester loanee, Paul Dickov, had given Derby the lead three minutes before the break but Simon Cox equalised in controversial circumstances with eight minutes remaining.

Derby started brightly and carved out an early chance when Lee Croft got clear down the right and his cross just evaded Rob Hulse who was arriving in the six-yard box.

Cox soon responded for Albion with a snap shot from 10 yards out that struck Stephen Bywater. The Derby keeper knew little about it.

Cox then tried his luck with an effort from long range that went narrowly wide.
