A TEENAGE racing star may have saved his dad from re-mortgaging his house after being offered possible deals by three top teams.
Jake Green, from Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, has been hotly tipped as the next Lewis Hamilton.
But the talented 16 year-old has been struggling to find the sponsorship he needed to fulfill his dreams.
His dad Stuart, a self-employed kitchen fitter, was considering re-mortgaging his house to ensure his son did not miss out on his future in the super-rich sport.
But Jake’s stunning performances on the track may have saved the day.
Formula Ford teams are said to be willing to share part of the financial burden to help Jake realise his dream of being the youngest ever Formula One world champion.
