JAMES White-Williams has joined Dudley Heathens from Newport for the 2012 National League season.
The Welshman celebrated his 26th birthday last week and will start the new campaign on a 4.53 average.
He is joined at the former Cradley club by 2011 Rider of the Year Darryl Ritchings who looks set to start next term in a reserve slot.
Said White-Williams: “It’s great for me to secure a move like this and my intention is to show everyone what I can really achieve.
“I was doing well last season until I suffered an injury and that knocked me back, but with a full year ahead I know I can put my average up.
“Dudley is a club everyone wants to ride for because of their brilliant support and I’m delighted.”
Teenager Ritchings is equally happy to be back for a second full season of league action.
He said: “I’m buzzing about next season. I’m still shocked by the Rider of the Year award.
“The team is looking great and we want to go out and win.”
