GRANT ROSCORLA’S double strike earned Bolehall Swifts a 2-0 win against title-chasers Heather St John’s.
Roscorla put the Swifts in front after just 23 seconds and got his second of the game with a volley from a cross to the far post in the 35th minute.
Second-place Nuneaton Griff were held to a 1-1 draw by Pilkington XXX but moved within four points of the leaders. Aidan Moore gave the Griff the lead after three minutes but JJ Cole equalised for the Glassmen in the 55th minute.
Dosthill Colts came unstuck against Brocton losing 2-0 at home. Gary Fife took advantage of a defensive error to give Brocton a 23rd-minute lead before Alex Barnfather netted their second from six yards out in the last minute.
Cadbury Athletic moved joint third with a 2-0 victory over Pelsall Villa. Lawrence Martin put Cadbury into a 15th minute lead and Mike Wright convert an 80th-minute penalty.
Walsall Wood triumphed 2-0 over Alveston, who were reduced to nine men for the final 10 minutes.
Tom Howard grabbed the breakthrough goal for Walsall with a header on 47 minutes and Dan Hodgkins then tapped in Walsall’s second in the 64th minute.
Bartley Green held on to a 2-1 win over Continental Star who hit the bar and saw two cleared off the line at Illey Park.
Reece Morgan put the Owls into the lead in the first minute and Jim Derby tapped in their second in the 12th minute. Tobias Salmon capitalised on a defensive error to pull one back in the 30th minute.
Castle Vale JKS beat Coventry Copsewood 2-1 at Vale Stadium with the visitors netting a late consolation from a deflected free-kick. Jamie Shipway had given JKS a two-goal lead adding to James Travis’ opener on 60 minutes.
Racing Club Warwick drew 2-2 at Pershore Town after twice taking the lead with goals from Luke Fuller and Leon Thomas. Lewis Critcher and Craig Carter netted for Town.
Massey Ferguson drew 1-1 at Southam. Scott Devlin put Massey into a 22nd minute lead but Jack Taylor levelled on 37 minutes.
