West Brom's outcasts can help fire Blues to success this season, according to one of the chief victims – Boaz Myhill.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper was exiled at The Hawthorns last year along with defender Pablo Ibanez.
Both are now expected to feature regularly for Chris Hughton’s side who have a hectic fixture list to contend with as their European adventure continues.
Myhill and Pablo are determined to prove their worth after failing to impress in the Black Country.
And with the help of another regular reserve Baggie, Chris Wood, the ex-Hull City stopper reckons they have all the ingredients for success.
“None of us were really getting games at West Brom, although I think Woody will have a chance to break into the first team when his loan spell ends,” said Myhill.
“For me, I’m just enjoying playing again.
“Obviously as a player you don’t want to train all week and get nothing at the end of it.
“It was tough going to grounds last year and going through the shape work but then never being involved.
“It’s nice to be back involved and in the thick of it.
“I want to help Birmingham do well now – that’s all I’m thinking about.
“Hopefully Pablo can do well for Birmingham too.
