Kevin Phillips on Birmingham City's chances of avoiding the drop and his next move

KEVIN Phillips admits that he ‘won’t sleep easily’ until Blues have achieved their main aim this season – Premier League survival.

And that spells bad news for Wolves, today’s opponents in a derby six-pointer at St Andrew’s.

Super Kev has made a habit of scoring against the boys from the Black Country and Wolves fans will remember all too well their last visit to Blues territory.

That day the diminutive striker came off the substitutes bench to net twice and turn a likely defeat into a dramatic victory for Alex McLeish’s side.

“One more win and we will be safe,” said Phillips, who is set to return to the starting line-up today after missing out in Blues last two matches, which were both away.

“I won’t sleep easily until we do get that, until we get to the 40-point mark at least.”
