Ben Foster has set his sights on rebuilding his career at Birmingham this season - but knows he has a hard act to follow in Joe Hart.
Foster opted to make a £6million switch from Manchester United to St Andrew's in May after becoming frustrated at his lack of first team opportunities at Old Trafford.
It was a major reason why Foster was not part of the England squad selected for the World Cup finals.
Now he is hoping the chance to play regular first team football under Alex McLeish at Blues will have the same positive effect as with Hart.
He sparkled during a season-long loan from Manchester City and was rewarded with a place on the plane to South Africa along with David James and Robert Green.
Foster said: "Joe did fantastic at Birmingham last season. But then he is a fantastic keeper.
