ALEX McLeish has challenged his players to prove they are mentally tough enough to continue their impressive unbeaten run.

The Blues boss heads to Molineux this afternoon on the brink of breaking his Premier League managerial record.

Big Eck has already equalled his longest run without tasting defeat in the English top flight.

Having beaten Sunderland and Fulham and drawn with Manchester City and Liverpool, Blues have matched their four-game run from February to March last year.

Now, as his side head into the heat of a West Midlands derby with struggling Wolves, McLeish insists it’s up to his players to show that they have got the mental resilience for top-flight survival.

“Sir Alex Ferguson has got a group of players that are used to winning 20-odd games a season to win the league.
