“We’d like to put the pressure on Wolves,” he said. “We’ve got six games left and they will all be massive. There’s 18 points in there and if we win the whole six matches then that is promotion, that is it.
“These games are always good, that’s what you play for. Not apprehension but a bit of pressure that lifts your game up.
“We are quite a well-bonded team, we are all together. We know what we want that is the thing. It’s not only the players, it’s the staff as well we know what we want and we want to get back in the Premier League.
“That’s where you want to play. If we want to play in the Premier League then we’ve got to go through games like the Wolves game. To win those and get to the highest level.”
Queudrue has previously faced Wolves’ new recruit Marlon Harewood in the top flight so knows all about the danger the on-loan Villa man will pose.
“I played against Harewood when he was at West Ham and I was at Middlesbrough so I know him,” he said. “He’s a strong lad, quite quick and good at holding the ball up front.
“I think he will be a good signing at this level.”
