Queudrue said the rivalry was healthy and not spite-filled.
“Dave and me have known each other for six, seven years.
“I was at Middlesbrough with him. He’s a good guy and a good player.
“The manager, if he chooses Dave to do the job it’s no problem.
“It’s not a nasty one like everybody shoots at each other, no. It’s healthy competition, we all want to go forward and play in the Premier League. We are quite a good bonded team. We are all behind each other, not only the players but the staff as well.”
Blues resume Championship action a week tonight in a crunch fixture at St Andrew’s against Wolves.
“It’s a home game, we have to beat them,” said Queudrue. “At least do everything in or power to do that and give us the chance to achieve what we want.”
