Birmingham City boss cranks up pressure on Wolverhampton Wanderers

 bid to keep his side fresh for their second game in three days following their 1-0 win at Ipswich Town on Boxing Day.

And the Blues boss is full of praise for this afternoon’s Welsh visitors who he describes as ‘one of the best footballing sides’ in the division.

“The two games in three days has to influence my selection,” he added. “As much as I would like to think that the same players can play twice in 48 hours and still be at absolute 100 per cent, I’d be kidding myself.

“Swansea are a terrific footballing side, probably the best. I don’t know what their approach will be, I just know we’ve got to be going all out for the victory.”
