ALEX McLeish reckons Villa’s tie against out-of-form Arsenal has come at the perfect time – but insists his side will still have to be at their best to win it.
The sides lock horns at the Emirates this afternoon in search of the only domestic silverware left for either team to win.
Apart from the Thierry Henry-inspired victory over Leeds United in the last round, the Gunners have struggled of late – losing three of their last four games.
McLeish knows that will be in the back of their minds and hopes to take advantage.
“Arsene Wenger will be very keen to play this game and will play as strong a team as he possibly can,” he said.
